Mr. Ramswarup Sarda embarked on his journey in the steel industry over five decades ago, back in 1972, with a modest steel trading retail shop

Over the span of two vibrant decades since the inception and germination of Ramsons, our unwavering focus was on propelling the business to greater heights. This was the era of rapid acquisitions as well as embracing technologies of tomorrow.

By 2012, Ramsons had begun to establish leadership in the steel industry in Central India. Since then, our focus has been not only on becoming pioneers in quality and sustainable steel but also on diversifying and venturing into exciting new avenues of growth and innovation. This streak of experimentation, irrespective of its success or failure, has continued to open new doors for us.

Leadership
The top management of the family-owned business has steered Ramsons' journey from the roots of a trading business to an agile and innovative conglomerate.
Affectionately known as ‘Babuji,’ Ramswarup Sarda literally fathered Ramsons and laid the foundation for the company. The visionary Chairman received the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his excellence in business and societal contributions from NVCC, the apex trade body in central India. He also serves as a trustee on the board of SRCOEM, an engineering and management college

The President of the company, Rajesh Sarda, graduated as an engineer and has been instrumental in driving innovation and diversification within the group. His appetite for risk and steadfast focus on expansion has been important in Ramsons' growth trajectory. He also serves as the President of the Steel & Hardware Chamber of Vidarbha.

Donning multiple hats with a fluence in legalese and an eye for detail, Rajat Sarda joined the family business after completing his MSc from Imperial College London, enabling rapid growth in steel, real estate, and construction. His passion for next-gen technologies is driving Ramsons’ diversification into new avenues. Rajat's commitment to sustainability led him to become the youngest member of a delegation organised by GIZ Energy Efficiency in Industry for a Knowledge Exchange Tour in Europe.

Lakshya Sarda joined the family business after completing his MSc in Marketing Strategy and Innovation from Bayes Business School, London. Not just a prudent entrepreneur, he is extremely dynamic and proficient in execution. With his reliable managerial skills, Ramsons is poised for a new era of explosive growth with a focus on innovation and sustainability.

In memory of our late director and Rajesh’s brother, Shri Maheshji Sarda, we have established the ‘Mahesh Sarda Memorial Trust,’ a charitable institute to perpetuate his legacy of compassion and generosity towards the less fortunate, as a way to spread kindness for all.
- Providing free grains to support the underprivileged.
- Donated a vehicle to ISKCON to facilitate the transportation of food for the poor relatives of patients.
- Offering discounted thalis for relatives of patients at government hospitals.
- Built a bhojnalaya for the handicapped at Narayan Seva Sansthan in Udaipur, feeding hundreds of people nourishing meals everyday.
- Contributing to Gauri Gopal Vruddhashrama for regular meals to the poor and needy.
- Empowering the handicapped community by regularly providing them with prosthetics.
- Contributed to the establishment of the Central India Institute of Medical Science (CIIMS) in Nagpur, one of the premier hospitals in the city.
- Under the banner of Saath Foundation, established Punarjanm Aashram in Butibori, providing a roof to the elderly.
- Regular donations to various ashrams to provide the best care for noteworthy causes.
- Supporting tribal education in Nagpur as part of the ‘Friends of Tribals Society’.
- Promoting and donating for girls' and women's education.
- Facilitating mass weddings for the underprivileged
- Organised a special preview screening of the movie ‘Vaccine War’, which delved India’s battle against COVID-19, in the presence of director Vivek Agnihotri and actress Pallavi Joshi
- Organised matches with hockey and cricket associations across Nagpur to promote sports amongst the youth
